Overview

Tuku Iho is a bi-lingual app that focuses on maternal and tamariki wellbeing. It has a te ao Māori perspective and is linked to mātauranga Māori, the sets of knowledge that were given to us from our ancestors.

It includes information on being hapū, preparing for pēpi, and caring for pēpi in the first 12 months. Topics covered include physical, mental, spiritual and emotional wellbeing; safe sleep; breastfeeding; check-ups; and immunisation.

Tuku Iho is available to read and listen to in English and te reo Māori, including pronunciation support for te reo.
